General Information

1. What services do you offer?
We provide private airport transfers, personalized tours, and private transportation services throughout the Riviera Maya and Yucatán Peninsula. All our services are 100% private—never shared—and tailored to your schedule and preferences.

2. Where are you located?
We are a locally owned company based in Akumal, Mexico, operating across the Riviera Maya region, including Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and beyond.

3. Are your vehicles private or shared?
All our transfers and tours are exclusively private. You’ll never share your ride with other groups.

4. What kind of vehicles do you use?
Our modern, air-conditioned fleet include Toyota Hiace vans—perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, or groups. Each vehicle is maintained to the highest safety and cleanliness standards.

5. Are your drivers bilingual?
Yes, all our professional drivers speak both English and Spanish.

Airport Transfers

6. Which airports do you service?
We provide private transfers from Cancun International Airport (CUN) and Tulum International Airport (TQO) to all destinations across the Riviera Maya and Yucatán Peninsula.

7. How do I book an airport transfer?
You can easily book online through our website. Please include your flight number, arrival time, and airline to ensure timely service.

8. How will I find my driver at the airport?
Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive detailed meeting instructions via email or WhatsApp. Our driver will greet you at the designated meeting point holding a Namaste Transportation sign with your name.

9. What happens if my flight is delayed?
No worries—our team monitors all flight arrivals in real time. Your driver will be there when you land, even if your flight is delayed.

10. Can I make a last-minute airport transfer booking?
Yes, depending on availability. For same-day or last-minute requests, please contact us directly via WhatsApp or phone for immediate confirmation. Reservations made with less than 48hrs of anticipation will require a full payment of service upon booking.

Private Tours

11. What types of tours do you offer?
We offer a selection of curated private tours to explore Mayan ruins, cenotes, nature reserves, colonial towns, and more. Each itinerary is personalized to your interests—whether cultural, historical, or adventure-based.

12. Can I customize my tour itinerary?
Absolutely! Our tours are designed around your preferences. Tell us what you’d like to experience, and we’ll craft the perfect route for you.

13. Are entrance fees or meals included in the tour price?
Yes, all of our tours are all-inclusive and will include transportation, entrance fees, certified guides and a meal. For specific details please contact us via email.

14. How long are the tours?
Most tours range from half-day (4–6 hours) to full-day (8–10 hours) experiences, depending on your chosen destinations and activities.

15. Do the guides speak English?
Yes, all the guides we hire are bilingual and highly knowledgeable about the region’s history, culture, and ecology. Please note the guides are hired externally at each of the sites we visit and do not form part of Namaste Tours and Transportation.

Private Transportation

16. Can I hire private transportation for dinner, events, or nightlife?
Yes! We offer flexible private transport for any occasion—dinner reservations, parties, weddings, or day trips. Your driver will remain available for the return journey at your preferred time.

17. Do you offer transportation between cities or resorts?
Yes, we provide point-to-point transfers throughout the Riviera Maya, Yucatán, and even beyond. Perfect for traveling between hotels, villas, or destinations like Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Bacalar and even Merida.

Payments & Policies

18. How can I pay for my reservation?
You can pay your deposit securely online through a provided link. The remaining balance can be paid online the day of the service or directly to your driver in U.S. Dollars or Mexican Pesos.

19. Do you require a deposit?
Yes, our bookings require a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation, with the remaining balance due on the day of service.

20. Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included but always appreciated. A 10–20% tip is customary for excellent service.

21. What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel up to 48 hours before your scheduled service and we will refund the deposit minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours will forfeit the deposit.

22. What if I need to modify my booking?
We understand that travel plans can change. Please contact us as soon as possible to request any modifications to your reservation. For changes made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service, your deposit will be applied as credit toward a future booking. Changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a 25% modification fee. Our team will always do its best to accommodate your new arrangements based on availability.

23. Are your prices per person or per vehicle?
Our Airport Transfers and Private Transportation rates are per vehicle. Pricing varies according to the size of your group and the selected vehicle category, with full details available in our Services section. Given the all-inclusive nature of our tours the price for our adventure tours is per person.

Safety & Comfort

24. Is it safe to travel with Namaste Transportation?
Absolutely. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. All of our vehicles are fully insured, meticulously maintained, and operated by professional, licensed drivers with extensive local experience. We adhere to all safety regulations established by the Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT – Secretariat of Communications and Transport) and maintain comprehensive incidental insurance that protects our guests, team members, and assets.

25. Are your tours dangerous? Your safety and comfort are our highest priorities. All our tours are carefully planned and operated by experienced professionals who follow strict safety protocols. While outdoor activities naturally involve a minimal level of risk, we take every precaution to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all guests. For this reason, participants are required to sign a standard release of liability form prior to the tour.

26. Do you provide child seats?
Yes, child and booster seats are available upon request. Please specify how many you need when booking. We offer one seat and one booster complementary, any additional boosters or child seats will have a fee of $10 USD

28. Do you operate 24/7?
Yes, our transfer services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Airport transfers and services provided between 9pm and 6am local time will be subject to a $20 USD fee.
